Module 1 (AED1500)
Fundamentals: 4 hours (1 session – 1 person)
Level: New to photography. Is this your first time holding a professional camera?
In this course you will gain a solid understanding of the essential elements in the professional photography field. Understanding your gear and mastering the basics about light and composition is extremely important before you go any deeper. You will also explore the creative side of photography, and you will be able to shoot photos in manual mode. So if you are a very new to the professional photography field this course is made for you.
Lesson 1: Camera exposure
In this photography class you will have a deeper look at the exposure triangle (Shutter speed, aperture and ISO)
Lesson 2: The art of lighting
In this lesson you’ll be introduced to main aspects working with light, how to works? What does main and fill light mean? Sun light Vs artificial light, reflection & diffusion etc.
Lesson 3: Composition — Start seeing as a photographer
In this photography class, you will gain a basic understanding of composition and get a good idea on what to look out for.
Lesson 4: Understanding lens types
Understand focal length, the relation between the objects in your scene and how to get the most out of it.
MODULE 2 (AED2500)
Intermediate, Enhance your skills: 6 hours (2 sessions – 1 person)
In this course you will gain an advanced understanding of light and composition techniques, through theoretical lessons and practical exercises, that will allow you to shoot as a professional.
Lesson 1: Lighting, Level 1
Photography is the art of lighting, and in this class you will have a deeper understanding of lighting rules, to make the right lighting setup to your scene.
Lesson 2: Lighting, Level 2, experts setups
Because it wasn’t about lighting, it’s always about lighting. Artists can make a creative image using one single object on an empty background. because they know how to draw with light.
Lesson 3: Composition…
This class is about learning why should you follow the rules of composition and how to break them.
Lesson 4: Focal length, more dimensions to your image
Understand focal length, the relation between the objects in your scene and how to get the most out of it.
Lesson 5: Dark Photography
In this class you will learn the art of darkness, how to achieve a perfect dark setup and how to use your reflectors as the source of light
MODULE 3 (AED5000)
Professional Product & Food photography: 12 hours (3-4 sessions – 1 person)
The skills that make you a CREATOR not just a photographer
In this course you will develop a strong powerful knowledge that will make you shoot as a real expert, you will learn how to take a full control of the light in order to make it work for you. You will also learn how to turn your imagination into reality by creating your own scenes instead of just shooting things. It’s not gonna be easy, so buckle up…
Lesson 1: Understand Lighting / reflections / diffusions (shooting on clean background)
Learning photography is learning how light works, and in this class you will learn how to use light as a professional, and how to make light works for you instead of just using it.
Lesson 2: Dealing with diverse materials
In this class you will learn how to deal with many different subjects like metal, Glass, fabric etc. and different shapes like curves and flat surface.
Lesson 3: Light & transparent objects
Learning to shoot transparent objects will introduce you to a whole new world of product photography,
Lesson 4: Background
As a professional photographer you must Learn how to deal with your background as a unique object in the scene
Lesson 5: Shooting Layers
In so many cases, a product photographer has to take multiple shots of the scene, working on a specific part of it each time, to combine all the shots in post-production to produce the final image
Lesson 6: Dark Photography
In this class you will learn the art of darkness, how to achieve a perfect dark setup and how to use your reflectors as the source of light
Lesson 7: Flying objects
This lesson will take your food and product photography skills further, and will teach you some techniques to make extraordinary pictures.
Lesson 8: Effects part 1
Create a dramatic scene. Play with fire and smoke
Lesson 9: Effects part 2
Learn more techniques about using water, splash, and other effects.
MODULE 4 (AED1500)
Editing & Retouching: 4 hours (1 session – 1 person)
This is not an Adobe Photoshop class, it’s designed to introduce you to the main tools that you absolutely need in order to take your raw image to the next level and produce your work as a professional.
